WHAT WE BELIEVE

At Liberty Baptist Church, our beliefs are rooted in the unchanging truth of God's Word. While no summary can replace our full Statement of Faith (provided for download at the bottom of this page), these convictions shape everything we teach, preach, and practice.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God. It is our final authority for what we believe and how we live.

We believe there is one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and rightful King over all creation.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and will one day return to establish His kingdom.

We believe salvation is God's gift of grace, received through faith alone in Jesus Christ and His finished work on Calvary alone. No amount of good works can earn God's forgiveness or favor.

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, producing spiritual growth, empowering obedience, and equipping God's people for service.

We believe all who have trusted in Jesus Christ are united as one body under Him, and that this unity is expressed through local congregations like ours. As a church family, we are called to worship Him, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, encourage one another, and serve our community for the glory of Christ.

We believe Jesus gave His church two ordinances: believer's baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper (Communion). These are acts of obedience that proclaim the gospel but do not save.

We believe Jesus Christ will personally return, raise the dead, judge all people with perfect justice, and establish His everlasting kingdom. Those who have trusted Him will enjoy eternal life in His presence.
